Marin Update #2 - with pictures!
Hi, folks, Frema again. I've been home from the hospital for a few hours but couldn't get to the computer right away. Now, though, Kara is asleep, and I'm free to act as Molly's blogographer once again. Apologies in advance for the quality of some of these pictures.
Here's Molly shortly before receiving her spinal. She was nervous, to say the least, but tried to stay in good spirits.
Molly's boys were very excited to meet the newest member of their family.

About 15 minutes after she was born. Welcome, sweet baby Marin!

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for.
It wasn't until late this afternoon--around fourish--that Molly finally had Marin in her arms. It was a long wait for both of them.

I left the hospital around five o'clock; Marin was sleeping soundly in the nursery (the nurses want to keep her there for a bit longer to monitor her breathing), and Molly was trying to get some rest. She'll be there until Sunday or Monday. Kevin will be with her, as will his laptop and Blackberry, so there's a chance you might hear from her personally if she's feeling up to it. If not, hopefully these pictures will tide you over until she's ready to return to the computer.
OK, now it's time to tell Molly how beautiful her baby girl is. Because she really, really is.
oh my! swooning and tears! she's gorgeous! congratulations Molly! Sniff her sweet head once for me. Okay, maybe 7 times.
