Friday Photos: An entry without any whining

Our house did not sell this week.

And maybe it's a good thing it didn't.  Saturday afternoon is the first Notre Dame game of the season, and who wants to spend the day buying a new house when they can instead watch the Irish in Hi-Def while stuffing themselves silly with football snackies and cold beer?

Certainly not my husband, that's who.

Tomorrow we will don our blue and gold jerseys and proudly display the Leprechaun flag on the front of the house, and hope to still do some damage without the quarterbackship of Brady Quinn.  We'll see.

Here's game day numero uno from last year:

Memories...

While hunting down a picture of my jersey-clad children from last year, I came across these, from a fall festival we love to attend.

Obviously Jack was none too happy with the unknowing soul who had the audacity to schedule a festival on game day.

With gritted teeth gums, Saturday afternoon craft fair my last diaper!

We'll send the kind gentleman a note this year, son.

Speaking of Fall, for which I seriously! cannot! wait!, last weekend we jumped the gun a bit, and hit up another of our fall favorites: Saint Joe, Michigan.

We picked apples at the Curious Kids Museum,

Had ice cream at Cabana's,

Guess which flavor KJ had.  Go on, guess!

and made Angels in the sand on Silver Beach.

Jack hated the feeling of sand on his hands (he hates any texture from food to dirt to sand on his hands, really)

but he loved the slides at the playground.

While we were too early in the season for the beautiful changing leaves, we were privvy to one spectacular sunset later in the evening.

We sat just slightly off the beaten path,

and witnessed the fiery sun

beyond the horizon.

It somehow makes everything else seem so insignificant.

WOW! Those sunset photos are awesome. AWESOME! All your photos are awesome actually, I love the look on Jack's face! What a hoot.

Have fun watching the Fighting Irish and eating football snacks!

Just have a great weekend!!!!

OMG, those sunset photos are spectacular.
(Full disclosure: it made me weep, the beauty!)

You guys go to the coolest places! You always look like you are having a great time. Have fun watching football. This weekend is the show-me "bowl" KC vs. the Rams. Can't wait to see this one! There is an awesome dip on w.w. it is called creamy cucumber dip. 2 pts, yum! 2 pts. for a beer and hey that is only 4 for the day. I am point obsessed. It's a sickness.

OMG - Your mom looks FAN FLIPPING TASTIC!! Congrats Mom!!!

I have to agree, Cool pics Moll!

1) I can't believe how much the kids have grown in the last year.

2) Yay for fall! I'm personally waiting to get taffy apples from the orchard, whose name I currently can't remember, but it's the one near your house.

3) I think KJ's ice cream flavor was rainbow sorbet. I win, don't I?

4) Happy Notre Daming!

Yes, YOUR MOM looks great!!!

And I love sunset photos!

I love the pics and your kids are super adorable & all, but the BEST part of your website is that

I MADE THE BLOGROLL!!!

YAY!!! YIPPEE!!! You made my day :) Now 13 people will read my site instead of 12! hahaha ...

Hope you're having a super weekend!

AHHHH What happend ND? 33 - 3 OUCH!

Hi Molly!

Don't know if you remember me... it's been a long time since my last comment :)

Your kiddies are super cute! And how fun to have a sports team to be passionate about.

Love your header! Very cute!

Beautiful pics as always!

Sorry about the game...our neighbors are huge fans as well. I think they are in mourning this week.

I love all the pictures:) Your kiddos are sooo adorable and have grown so much!

Gorgeous pictures!!! KJ and Jack have changed soooo much since last year!!

I am kinda ready for fall too and most definitely ready for college football, even though Memphis doesn't have the best team, it's still fun to tailgate and watch the game!

Gorgeous sun pics!

It's going to be a long, long, long Notre Dame season. Seriously, ND football is the ONLY sport I watch, and I'm pretty sad after this weekend's game.

It freaked me out to see how much the kids have grown in the past year. Wow.

And as always...great pics Molly!
